Scholarship Guidelines

The DKF Foundation was established to provide financial assistance for full-time students who are Military Veterans or dependents of deceased Military Veterans who served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) within the central command area of responsibility.

This financial award will be offered to full-time college students. To be eligible for consideration you must be a California resident attending a University, College or trade institution and a veteran of the United States Armed Forces (including US Coast Guard) who has served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) within the central command area of responsibility. Applications will also be accepted from dependents of personnel who have been killed in action or incurred disabilities, that are noted in their DD Form 214 as 75% or more, in the above-mentioned campaigns.

Applicants who are awarded a scholarship are eligible for an additional scholarship each year if they attain at least a 3.0 gpa and submit documentation that they are enrolled for another year. An applicant can not be awarded more than four annual scholarships.
